We went for Clay's two month check-up today and he now weighs 9 pounds 14 ounces and is 22 inches long! Dr. Fishman said Clay is growing very, very well! He had to start his first round of vaccinations this morning. Boo. Not fun for a mama to watch.
Clay had some major milestones in this past month:
*started to coo... making lots of sounds especially in the morning when he is the most happiest!
*rolled over... (there's a whole blog post on that big one!)
*following people and objects with his eyes
*smiling in response to tickles and goofy faces
*pressing his feet into a stand-up position on my lap
*holding his head up and moving it all over the place
*outgrown his premie clothes and now fitting in newborn
*found his tongue... will try to mimic what I am doing with my tongue
*graduated to sleeping in the crib from the cradle
*sat in his Bumbo for the first time
*grew his hair back that he lost the first month
All were so much fun to watch! I took some 8 week photos of Clay. What a handsome fellow...
